One of the principles we discussed during the seminar/workshop that created this blog was to face new ideas without fear. I believe as journalists we do that well. Perhaps like soldiers or politicians? But what of the public? Do they embrace new ideas or not — and how quickly. Which part of society is first— youth obviously. But socio economic status also has a large impact.
